What this site is for
Most slot pages online repeat a studio's marketing figures and stop there. The gap we try to fill is the practical one: what a return-to-player figure means in cash across a real session, why the same game pays differently at different casinos, which mechanic is actually driving a game's outcomes, and what to check in a game's own information screen before staking anything.
Every provider page and every completed game page states the studio's default figures, explains the mechanic in enough detail to be useful, and says plainly where a game is a poor bet relative to its stablemates.
How figures are sourced and verified
- Studio-published data first. Where a developer publishes a return percentage, maximum win or hit frequency for a title, that figure takes precedence.
- Cross-checked against independent databases and reviews. Figures are compared across multiple sources before publication.
- Disagreements are stated, not hidden. When reputable sources give different numbers — and on some titles they differ by a factor of two — the page says so and points you to the game's own paytable rather than picking one and presenting it as fact.
- Missing figures stay missing. Several pages show "check in-game" for a maximum win because no reliable figure exists. Inventing one would be worse than leaving it blank.
- Mechanic labels are checked against gameplay documentation. We have corrected several titles on this site that are widely mislabelled elsewhere — a number of Big Time Gaming games listed as Megaways are fixed 4,096-ways games.
The RTP position
Most large studios supply operators with several return configurations of the same game. Play'n GO ships five per title, with documented tiers running from roughly 96% down to about 84% — a house edge four times larger at the bottom, with identical artwork and features. Every game page on this site tells you to open the information screen and read the figure before you spin, because that check is worth more than any staking system.
What this site is not
Nothing here is a recommendation to gamble. Slots carry a negative expected value by design: the house edge is built into the return percentage and is present on every spin. We publish edge figures in cash terms — cost per $1,000 staked — specifically so the price of play is visible rather than abstract.
