What Sweet Bonanza is

Sweet Bonanza is a candy-themed slot released by Pragmatic Play in 2019. It has become one of the most played online slots in the world, and the theme has very little to do with why. What made it a landmark release is its maths: a six-by-five grid with no paylines, wins that pay from anywhere on the screen, a tumble mechanic that chains wins together, and a free spins round where multiplier symbols combine into totals large enough to justify a maximum win of 21,175x your stake. That ceiling was extreme for a mainstream release at the time and is still among the highest in Pragmatic Play's catalogue.

Note that individual symbol payouts are quoted against total bet, not per line, because there are no lines. That makes the numbers easy to read: a 50x cluster is fifty times the amount you staked on that spin.
